Overturned cement truck blocking NB lanes of N. Main Street; driver hospitalized, Baytown PD says

BAYTOWN, Texas (KTRK) -- A driver is in the hospital as a result of an overturned truck in the Baytown area on Thursday, according to police.

The Baytown Police Department said the northbound lanes in the 7400 block of N. Main Street are shut down due to the wreck.

Baytown PD added that the driver, who was hospitalized, is expected to be OK.

SkyEye13 flew over the active scene, where the truck could be seen on its side and off the roadway.

Drivers in the area should expect delays and are encouraged to use an alternate route as crews work to clean up the incident.



It's unclear at this time what led the truck to flip over.
