Nurse sings to a child cancer patient at Texas Children's Hospital

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- One nurse at Texas Children's Hospital knows that treating a little patient fighting cancer sometimes requires non-traditional medicine, and nurse Brandon's medicine of choice is song.

Brandon sang, the Aladdin theme song, "A Whole New World" to four-year-old Sophia Torres. Her father recorded this video of the heartwarming moment.

Torres was diagnosed on May 5 2015 with Philadelphia Positive Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. Her family is chronicling her fight with cancer on Facebook.
