"I saw the lights of the police car, and the road was blocked off," neighbor Raymond Buenteo said.
Buenteo said he became aware of the police investigation Saturday morning, after officers knocked on his door seeking anything that could help the case. Two days later, information is still limited.
According to investigators, shortly before 3 a.m. Saturday, they were called to Radio Road just east of Hobby Airport for reports of two people shot. When they arrived, police said they found a woman in a ditch to the side of the road and a man in the middle of the road. Both had multiple gunshot wounds, and police said multiple shell casings were found at the scene.
"It's terrible, yes, it is. It's getting bad, it's a shooting every day," Buenteo said.
Houston police said its homicide team is investigating and suspects foul play.
No vehicle was found at the scene, and as of now, no suspect has been identified, according to officials.
Police said they are waiting for the family to be contacted before identifying the victims.
