Motorcyclist killed in deadly League City crash after police pursuit, GCSO says

LEAGUE CITY, Texas (KTRK) -- Authorities said the driver of a motorcycle was killed in a deadly crash following a police pursuit in League City.

According to the Galveston County Sheriff's Office, the motorcyclist was being pursued by League City police on Monday afternoon.

Officials said the pursuit came to an end after a crash. The suspect motorcyclist was pronounced dead following the crash, according to authorities.

GCSO confirmed its deputies are leading the investigation and continuing to gather details. It is unknown at this time what led to the puruist or what caused the crash.
