Montgomery County deputy accused of sharing arrestee's photo and driver's license on social media

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) -- A Montgomery County Precinct 5 Constable's deputy has been placed on suspension after allegations that the deputy shared pictures of an arrestee and their driver's license on social media.

Precinct 5 said it became aware of the allegations on Wednesday. They said the deputy was sharing the pictures on social media for unknown reasons.

"The Precinct 5 Constable's Office has strict policies regarding social media that prohibit any deputy from sharing images obtained while in the performance of their official duty," authorities said.

The accused deputy has been suspended until the investigation of the allegation is complete.
