Woman who disappeared on Monday in W. Harris Co. found safe, deputies say

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) -- A 22-year-old woman who went missing earlier this week has been found safe, the Harris County Sheriff's Office said on Friday morning.

The search had been underway for Shimari Haden, who was last seen on the evening of March 13, when she walked from her home to a local park at 19200 Brook Village Road in west Harris County.

Days later, the sheriff's office has now said in a tweet that Haden was located safely.

Authorities did not release any further details about where she was found.
