THE WOODLANDS, TX (KTRK) -- A World War II veteran is showing off a special skill. He builds miniature wooden houses.
Some of his pieces have taken years to build and they are quite a sight to see.
Ed Chendler, 89, has a lifetime of memories to share with his friends and memories to create. This tough world veteran has the hands of an angel.
It all started back in the 60s when at the corner store, Ed's son wanted dad to buy a miniature log cabin.
"No", dad said. It's too expensive. Let's just make one ourselves.
