Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said deputies responded to a call at the 22900 block of Birnam Wood Boulevard and learned a man had been shot by his wife during an altercation.
Family identified the victim as Chad Edward Pullman, a 50-year-old truck driver.
Investigators said the man was pronounced dead, and woman has been detained. No arrests have been made.
An investigation is underway.
