Man grazed by bullet, another injured after shooting at northeast Houston convenience store: HPD

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- A man was grazed by a bullet, and another person was wounded after a shooting in northeast Houston, according to the Houston Police Department.

Images from the scene showed a shattered glass door after the shooting on Thursday at the convenience store in the 4200 block of Denmark Street.



A shooting victim at the scene described the chaotic moments before shots were fired, and shared a look at the wounds he sustained as a result.

The man described how a group of people came into the convenience store, and an argument ensued before shots were fired.



"We jumped in for our partner; they came back and shot, and I got hit," the victim told ABC13.

The victim said that a woman was shot in the midst of the altercation, but she fled the scene before first responders arrived.

HPD confirmed that a second victim was reported, but added that they have not been located.



Officers said an investigation is underway.
