HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- A man was arrested and charged after he showed up at an H-E-B store with a gun, prompting a brief "secure" mode, according to the Houston Police Department.

SkyEye13 was over an active scene at an H-E-B store after a security guard reported a man with a gun on the store's property.

SkyEye13 was over the active scene on Tuesday evening, showing law enforcement vehicles gathered at the store's entrance.

HPD confirmed to Eyewitness News on Wednesday that they responded to the store at the intersection of Fountain View Drive and San Felipe Street.

Investigators reported that a man who had been asked to leave the property multiple times was seen on the store's property once again, and when he was approached by a security guard, he pointed a gun at the guard.

HPD said the security guard rushed into the store and activated the business to "secure" mode.

According to investigators, the suspect's vehicle was later found with a gun inside it in the 2500 block of Yorktown Street.

The suspect was identified by HPD as Hunter Elliot Molina, 27, and was charged with aggravated assault of a security officer by the Harris County DA's office.

Eyewitness News reached out to H-E-B, which referred all questions to HPD.
