HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) -- A man charged with the murder of a repairman in July has now been charged in a second death, according to Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez.

On Thursday, 32-year-old Jaime Garcia was charged with murder in the shooting death of 41-year-old Francisco Navarro from May 26, the sheriff's office said.

Deputies said they were called to the 1300 block of Patch, where they found Navarro dead with a gunshot wound inside a vehicle.

According to HCSO, Garcia was already in custody on a separate murder charge from an incident on July 2, where a repairman was found shot to death in a northeast Harris County home inside a gated community. The Harris County Sheriff's Office said deputies were flagged down around 10:45 p.m. on July 2, after family members of a repairman, identified as 31-year-old Christopher Walsh, said they were worried when he didn't come home from work. Deputies said the work truck was tracked down to a home in the 12400 block of Crathie Drive in the Balmoral subdivision.

Authorities say that the motive for the July 2 murder is unknown at this time.
