The affected area stretches from Highway 288 to I-10 to outside the Beltway.

The city is installing new water valves at the Southwest Water Pump Station, which requires them to shut down a massive 66-inch water main along Richmond Avenue.
The city says that work should not impact water service or quality, but residents in southwest Houston may notice lower than usual water pressure.
The water pressure will be back to normal by Monday, Dec. 18.
