HPD seeking person of interest in connection with 2025 deadly double shooting involving siblings

A brother was killed and his sister was injured in a double shooting. HPD is now seeking a person of interest for questioning.

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Houston police have released a photo of a person of interest in connection with a shooting that killed a man and injured his sister last year.

Arentheis Winn, 20, was identified as a person of interest wanted by the Houston Police Department for questioning.

HPD is looking to speak to Arentheis Winn, 20, in connection to a deadly shooting that killed a brother and injured his sister in southwest Houston in November 2025.

According to the HPD, the shooting happened in the early morning hours at 11107 South Post Oak Road on November 28, 2025.

Markquez Mack, 29, was shot and killed, and his sister was injured as they were leaving an establishment, detectives said, adding that before they were shot, there was a verbal altercation between the siblings and the two suspects.



HPD did not say whether or not Winn was identified as one of the suspects.

Detectives released Winn's photo in hopes of reaching anyone with information about his whereabouts, the identities of the suspects, or the case. Anyone who can speak to the case is urged to call the HPD Homicide Division at 713-308-3600 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
