HPD: 16 people break into abandoned hotel to shoot video

An abandoned high rise hotel became an active scene again overnight

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- More than a dozen young adults are accused of trespassing into an abandoned hotel near downtown Houston, reportedly to shoot a music video.

Sixteen people, some wearing clown makeup, were detained by police around 10:30pm Monday at the old Days Inn at St. Joseph Parkway at Travis.

HPD says all 16 were released after the district attorney's office did not accept trespassing charges.
