World champion boxer O'Shaquie Foster, born in Orange and training out of Houston, is slated for a title defense of his World Boxing Council super featherweight title against challenger Raymond Ford at the Fertitta Center on May 30.
Foster's professional boxing record stands at 24 wins and 3 losses. The bout in Houston will also serve as a homecoming fight for the 32-year-old Foster. Foster has fought in Texas before, when he earned a unanimous decision over then-WBC titlist Rey Vargas for the championship belt back at the Alamodome in San Antonio on Feb. 11, 2023.
