LEAGUE CITY, Texas (KTRK) -- A monthslong investigation has concluded after seven suspects were arrested for their alleged roles in several thefts at Best Buy locations across Texas, including Houston, the League City Police Department said.

According to investigators, in July 2025, the Business District Unit of the LCPD took a report from a League City-area Best Buy location after a suspect entered, swiped several display cameras, and fled the store in an awaiting maroon-colored Hyundai sedan.

Police said the next day, the car was stopped by the Pasadena Police Department, and officials identified the suspect as 19-year-old Kobre Dickinson.

As the investigation continued, officials found that at least 20 other thefts at other Best Buy locations similar to the July 2025 incident had been committed by the same crew in San Antonio, Dallas, and Austin, totaling $260,000 in stolen property.

LCPD, along with the Houston Police Department, New Braunfels, and the Texas Department of Public Safety, worked to identify six other suspects involved.

Officials said they were 20-year-olds Jaron Pinson, Raynord Norman, and Damarion Hawkins; 23-year-old Jewrell Pinson; 19-year-old Jacorris Parrish; and 18-year-old Christopher Gordon. All of them were said to be from Houston's Fifth Ward area.

The case was presented to a grand jury, which then returned an indictment of all seven suspects for engaging in organized criminal activity, a first-degree felony. They were taken into custody and held on a 100,000 bond each.
