Houston TranStar reported the incident at about 11:59 p.m. on Thursday, initially shutting down all westbound lanes of SH 225 at Richey Street. As of 10:32 a.m., all lanes had reopened.
An ABC13 crew captured images of the damaged trailer as crews worked to tow it off the freeway.
It's unclear at this time whether anyone was injured in the crash or what caused it.
