HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- A ground stop has been lifted at Houston's big airports after Wednesday's thunderstorms, but a departure delay remains in effect for George Bush Intercontinental.
The severe storms impacted departures at William P. Hobby and IAH throughout the morning. The delay at Bush is listed as 15 minutes and increasing, according to the FAA.
Airport officials advise travelers to contact their airline directly for the most up-to-date information on their flight.
