Morning Anchor Rita Garcia sat down with those closest to her, including her son, Cortland Cicardo.
"She's at a point in her life where she finally gets to focus on herself, and it's not about pleasing the rest of the family. It's finally getting the opportunity to live her life, take risks, venture out there, and do what she wants to do." Cicardo said.
He also added that it's not just showtime, it's her time. Tracy is one of 23 golden ladies vying for a rose in Season 2 of The Golden Bachelor.
When asked about whether she believes in love at first sight, Cortland said, "I think she believes in attraction at first sight."
ABC13 also visited with Tracy's dear friend, Ann Arthur, who can't wait to see her style on full display.
"She always looks fabulous. Tracy's so put together, and I tease her about it because she's much more put together than I am. Even working in the yard, you know?"
Ann said Tracy is an interior designer, so she has no doubt the entrepreneur will stand out on the show.
"She might have on very casual shoes, but she's got this pretty dress on. Her hair looks nice, her makeup looks perfect, and she's so fun to be around," Ann shared.
While Tracy is known for her fashion sense and wearing her signature hats, her favorite hat these days is being "grandma."
Cortland said, "Ohhh, she has absolutely forgotten about every other priority in her life other than our little girl. She's 9 months old now, basically a teenager."
Tracy's journey to finding love starts Wednesday, September 24, when Season 2 of The Golden Bachelor returns on ABC.
"I can't wait to see what's going to actually happen on the show. And who knows? Hopefully, she'll be picked," Ann said.
