Former Pasadena ISD employee accused of sexually assaulting 13-year-old student, court records say

PASADENA, Texas (KTRK) -- A former Pasadena Independent School District employee has been fired and charged after allegedly sexually assaulting a middle school student, according to the Pasadena Independent School District.

According to court documents, Vanessa Aguilar has been charged with aggravated sexual assault of a child under the age of 14 after three encounters with a student who was 13 years old on campus.

Charging documents said Aguilar was a paraprofessional at Queens Intermediate in Pasadena ISD, and the alleged incidents happened in February 2026.

The student reportedly told officials during an interview that the alleged assaults would happen when Aguilar would take him into another room, designated as a break room, according to court records.

Upon learning of the allegations, Pasadena ISD reported the incident to police, and Aguilar was subsequently fired, according to a district press release.



Aguilar appeared in court on Wednesday, where her bond was set at $500,000, according to court records.
