Officers have been at the location on East Orem near Martindale much of the day on Wednesday. The property owner told abc13 that investigators are looking for a body that's believed to be buried somewhere on the property.
The Texas Rangers, La Marque Police Department and other officers are on the scene. A K-9 unit has been brought in to assist.
One man was spotted in handcuffs at the scene, but his potential involvement is not clear at this time.
