HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Crowds gathered around a dead victim in the middle of a street in southeast Houston Monday afternoon after a confrontation at a gas station took a fatal turn.
Houston police say after a fight broke out at a gas station, two drivers followed each other to the 5600 block of Willow Glen Drive, near MLK Boulevard and Loop 610. There were both men and women in each car.

The victim, identified only as a male in his early 20s, died on the scene of an apparent gunshot wound. Houston homicide detectives are investigating. A large number of spectators lined the streets in the area.
The suspects fled the scene, and police are searching for them. No suspects have been identified.
