HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A man is in critical condition after his car crashed into an SUV.
Investigators say the driver was in a Mazda headed eastbound on Westheimer, traveling at a high rate of speed, when he lost control.

The Mazda crossed the median and struck a Hyundai driving westbound at the intersection with Jeanetta.
The woman in the SUV was not injured.

Officers could not say whether alcohol or drugs were a factor in the crash.
