In his honor last Thursday, a monster truck parade was held at the Royal Purple Raceway.
"No child should ever have to go through this. No parent should ever have to go through this. And to watch people so close to my heart go through this, it kills me every day," his uncle Chris Paulk said. "If I could trade places with them in a minute, I would, no questions asked."

Volunteers sold stickers, t-shirts and flags with #FightlikeStevie and Lifted Trucks, Lifted Prayers printed on them.
"He's touched more people in two years than I will in three life times," Paulk added.
All of the proceeds from the event benefited the Matthews family.
