HOUSTON (KTRK) -- All eastbound lanes of US-290 Northwest at Huffmeister Road are back open after a big wreck accident prompted an hours-long closure of the Northwest Freeway.

According to Houston TranStar, three vehicles were involved in the accident, which was reported at 12:21pm. There's no word yet on whether anyone was hurt in the crash.
The highway was reopened around 2:15pm.
