"It's on the board when we walk in for the workout: 1-0 every week, 1-0 Monday, 1-0 throughout the week," Guillory said.
The Mustangs defensive back spent the summer working out with his team and feels like he and the team are ready for his senior season.
"We definitely have developed through the offseason and molded together," he said. "I trust all 11 guys on both sides of the ball."
Tony was the defensive MVP in the 10-7 state championship win over Duncanville a year ago.
"Continue to work hard is my goal this season," he said. "Just staying humble and showing that I'll go back out there and do it again and that it wasn't a fluke."
Guillory is as well-rounded a young man as you'll find anywhere in the Houston area. He not only excels on the field but is also a true student-athlete who carries a 4.12 GPA into his final year in the classroom.
"The subject I enjoy the most is math class because I like numbers," he said. "Really, just my parents instilled in me grades and education. That's a big part of college, and football is going to come, but really just the education side is more important."
Guillory had offers from several schools, including the University of Texas at San Antonio, Colgate, Georgetown, Furman, and Fordham, but committed to Florida Atlantic University in June.
