9-year-old hit by car while riding electric dirt bike, Pct. 4 says

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) -- A child was hospitalized after being hit by a car while riding an electric bike on Thursday, according to the Harris County Precinct 4 Constable's Office.

Deputies said the incident happened in the 200 block of Pinto Point Drive.

The 9-year-old was reportedly riding an electric dirt bike before being struck by a vehicle.

Pct. 4 said the driver involved stayed at the scene and was cooperating with investigators.

The 9-year-old was taken to the hospital, though deputies did not share the child's condition.
