HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) -- A man is in custody after allegedly stabbing two of his roommates, leaving them severely injured, according to the Harris County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies said they responded to the 17000 block of Red Oak after a report of a "life-threatening" call and found two men, a 26-year-old and a 43-year-old, stabbed. One was stabbed in the stomach, and the other was found in a pool of blood, unconscious.

Both victims were taken to the hospital, where they are both receiving treatment.

Officials said that the two victims wanted to evict the suspect, identified as Trevon Thomas, who had left a few days before and returned Saturday night. HCSO said the three got into an argument that led to the stabbing.

HCSO also confirmed that Thomas and one of the victims were romantically involved.

HCSO said the suspect was detained in the parking lot of the apartment complex and was charged with two counts of aggravated assault.
