In a social media post, the Harris County ESD 48 Fire Department said the wreck involved two 18-wheelers and caused one of them to fall from the freeway. SkyEye13 flew over the major crash, where the second 18-wheeler could be seen with heavy front-end damage.

Fire officials added that two occupants in the crash were taken to the hospital for treatment. They said only minor injuries were reported.

TranStar shows several lanes are still closed at the intersection as crews work to clean up the scene.

At this time, it's unclear what led to the crash, but an investigation is underway.
