According to our news partners at the Houston Chronicle, about 300,000 Houston voters are on the state's suspense list.
That means the state has not been able to confirm their current address.
Being on the list does not prevent you from voting, but it will require you to fill out extra forms on or before Election Day.
To find out whether you are on the suspended list, head to the state's online portal.
If you are on the suspense list, you'll need to update your new address before the Oct. 5 deadline.
If you happen to show up to the polls and are told you're on the suspense list, you'll be required to fill out a 'statement of residence' form.
