Houston institution Frankel's Costume Company to close their doors

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- It's been a must stop shop in Houston for decades, but this Halloween will be the last one for Frankel's Costume Company.

The downtown warehouse on Polk Street has been the place to transform into whatever you want with more than 60,000 rental costumes.

It originally opened as a magic store in 1950.

The owners say it's just time to retire. The doors at Frankel's close for good at the end of the year.
