Pilot forced to make emergency landing in Montgomery pasture

MONTGOMERY, Texas (KTRK) -- A pilot was forced to make an emergency landing in a pasture Friday night in Montgomery.

According to Montgomery Co. officials, the pilot was flying by himself when the plane went into a spin. The pilot was able to recover the plane before hitting the ground near FM 2854 at Highway 105.

The plane went over several trees before landing, investigators said.

No injuries were reported.
