Hundreds of pets still waiting for owners at NRG

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Best Friends Animal Society have posted the pictures of 455 dogs and cats that are still waiting for their owners to reclaim them after Harvey. The pictures are located at Greenspoint Mall.

The animals are being held at NRG arena. There is no cost to reclaim a lost pet.

Organizers ask that you bring a picture or other proof that the animal is yours.

The group hopes to reunite all of the pets with their owners, but if that proves impossible, they will adopt out animals.
