Uber delivered playful piglets to raise money for Harris County 4-H

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- It was piglet playtime for many Houston-area offices.

Uber partnered with a local farm to deliver adorable pet piglet playtime straight to your door on Wednesday.

ABC13 got in on the action and requested the piglets to the newsroom.

For just $25, the ride sharing service brought piglets from Petite Porkers farm to offices around the Houston area for 15 minutes of playtime.

Between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m., an orange card popped up at the bottom of the Uber app within the Houston area. With just a tap, an adorable piglet would be on its way for playtime and cuddles.

Deliveries were only made to offices (not personal residences). Each office had to have an "enclosed, dedicated space for the piglets," according to Uber regulations.

Money raised during the piggies-on-demand event support Harris County 4-H's youth education efforts.
