Pasadena PD investigating crash involving officer on motorcycle along Fairmont Parkway

PASADENA, Texas (KTRK) -- Pasadena police are investigating after a motorcycle officer was reportedly involved in a crash Friday morning.

According to the Pasadena Police Department, the incident happened at about 8:30 a.m. along Fairmont Parkway and Center Street.

The officer was said to be alert and conscious and taken to UTMB Clear Lake by ambulance.

SkyEye flew over the crash, where police could be seen investigating the scene and crews working to clear the wreckage.

There was no word on how the crash unfolded.

Authorities said Center Street (South) at Fairmont Parkway was shut down as a result.
