Search for suspect who killed a motorcyclist in Webster

WEBSTER, TX (KTRK) -- Investigators are looking for the driver of a deadly hit and run on Nasa Parkway in Webster.

Officers say around 1am on Saturday, a truck traveling westbound on Nasa Parkway near Austin crossed into oncoming traffic and hit a motorcycle.

The driver of the motorcycle, a man in his 20's, died at the scene.

Police say the driver of the truck kept going, traveling several more blocks into a neighborhood before abandoning the vehicle.

Investigators recovered the truck and are still looking for the driver this morning.

The driver could face a number of charges including failure to stop and render aid and possibly manslaughter.
