Liberty police on the hunt for park vandals

Tuesday, January 31, 2017
LIBERTY, TX (KTRK) -- The Liberty Police Department is looking for suspects who drove into the City Park and trenched the grass, leaving behind large donut formations.

In a news release, police said the suspects could face criminal mischief and trespassing charges.

"While the suspect(s) might have thought this was harmless prank, which it is not, it costs tax-payer money to repair the damage done. This is our park and we need to take care of it," police said.

Anybody with information about the incident is asked to contact Liberty police.
