It happened around 4:30 a.m. in the 600 block of Turner Drive.
The woman was stabbed in her head, neck, chest and stomach. Police said she was stable at a nearby hospital.
The suspect is still at large. Police didn't name him, but said he was a Hispanic male, 39, with a full beard and driving a blue Ford Focus.
