PROVIDENCE, RI (KTRK) -- A police raid landed two people in jail after $90,000 worth of diapers were stolen.

According to WPRI, the stolen diapers were supposed to be at the Amazon distribution center. Rhode Island State Police said the driver, Aubrey Bettis, sold the stash of diapers and ditched the truck at a local motel.

When the truck's owner found out, he called state police.

Bettis and another man, Damon Martin, were arrested and charged with larceny and conspiracy. Police are still searching for a third suspect.

Authorities were only able to recover half of the diapers. There are still roughly 1,200 diaper boxes missing.
