The girl has been identified as Alma Adame.
She was found inside the home and rescued, but died soon after.
Her mother and grandmother were also inside of the home.
Alma's mother, Isabel Martinez, is in the hospital. Martinez jumped from a second story window to escape the fire.

"There's still that recovery period so we won't know nothing probably until sometime late tomorrow she did self-evacuate out of the house," said Pasadena Fire Marshal David Brannon. "She had to jump out of a two story window, so it's a pretty traumatic event."
The grandmother was not hurt and investigators are still looking into a cause.
Jose Garcia, Alma's uncle, said she was a senior at Pasadena High School.
"Fun, outgoing, she was the kind of person you wanted to be around. I'm going to miss her," Garcia said of Alma.
He added that she had bright future and was looking forward to graduating.

Garcia was not only mourning the loss of his niece but also his childhood home. He grew up in the house that caught fire.
"I was destroyed like anybody else, when you find out the house you grew up in was destroyed and then you find out someone in your family is dead," said Garcia.
Investigators do not suspect foul play. They also do not believe that the was fire electrical or heater-related.
