Several stand-out players made their choices today.
Lamar High School Texans Early National Signing Day
At Lamar High School, Alex Hogan signed to go to Texas Tech. The cornerback made 29 tackles, 3 interceptions on defense, and rushed for 4 touchdowns on offense while adding a pair of special teams touchdowns. His teammate Zane Knipe is headed to Rice.
Brant Banks is from Westbury Christian, and the lineman had a lot to choose from. There were 20 offers on the table including UH, Baylor, Nebraska, and Missouri, before Banks eventually picked the Nebraska Cornhuskers.

St. Pius X had three players signing today, including quarterback Grant Gunnell who has committed to play for Arizona. Gunnell threw for 195 touchdowns in his career and racked up big numbers averaging 350 yards per game.
Classmate Chase Lane is going to Texas A&M and wide receiver Boobie Curry announced during the ceremony that he will join Gunnell in Arizona.

The Fort Bend Bush Broncos saw safety Jamal Morris signed his letter of intent today. Oklahoma will be the next stage for this high school stand out.
His teammate cornerback Erick Young committed to Texas A&M.
But the biggest question of the day was answered Wednesday afternoon when we found out who Marcus Striping will play for. The Mayde Creek defensive end had offers from Alabama, Texas, Texas A&M and others before signing with Oklahoma.
