A white button-down can be worn tucked into a pencil skirt or a wide-legged pant for a dressy style. To dress it down, add a denim jacket over your shoulders, or even wear it over your white button-down.
It can worn out and belted to show off your waist. This works best with a skinny pant, but can also look cute with heels or flats.
But to really take your white button-down up a notch, try layering it under a sweater or jacket. Pop the collar and cuff the sleeves over the sweater and jacket, or for a casual look, wear the white button-down out.
You can also layer over clothes with a white button-down. This is awesome if you have a lightweight but dark colored summer dress that you want to take into fall. It also looks really awesome over a dressier sleeveless dress -- just tie the shirt at the waist.
Have fun with your white button-down, but make sure it's not a wrinkled mess!
