METRO offers discounted rides for students returning to classroom

As students return back to the classrooms, here's how they can get a discount off the regular METRO fare. Watch the video above to find out what is needed to apply.

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Not only does METRO help riders get to work, it also helps thousands of students get to school.

METRO offers a discount fare card for students in kindergarten through 12th grade, as well as those in college. This gives students the ability to ride any METRO service for about 50 percent off the regular fare.
