When Miller hits the field on Sunday to face the Titans, he will be wearing cleats with a special message: mentoring and educating inner city youth. That particular cause has been a year-long dedication, thanks to his partnership with ABC13's Chauncy Glover and The Chauncy Glover Project.

Miller's cleats supporting The Chauncy Glover Project are part of the NFL's annual "My Cause, My Cleats" initiative. The initiative allows players to wear cleats of their own choosing to represent a charity.
"Mentoring matters and that's why I'm supporting The Chauncy Glover Project for My Cause, My Cleats," Miller wrote on Twitter. "They are doing good things to groom inner city teenage boys into upstanding gentlemen."
Through the Texans All Community Ticket Program, Miller was able to contact ABC13's Chauncy Glover about adopting The Chauncy Glover Project for the 2017 football season.
"The young men were excited," Glover said.
The project was started nearly three years ago while Glover was reporting in Detroit and witnessed a young robbery suspect gunned down in the street. Glover vowed to mentor other students who were in danger of getting into trouble.

Upon landing in Houston, the program has changed the lives of many young men. Through the hands-on mentoring program, each young man is assigned his own mentor, offering tutoring in public speaking, college readiness and even tips to dress for success.
Glover says Miller has helped the program in numerous ways -- from donating backpacks to offering words of encouragement. And yes, the boys attend each Texans home game, for free, thanks to Miller.
When the cameras zoom in on Miller's CGP cleats, the nation will be reminded that mentorship works.
