HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A Houston Baptist University wide receiver is in custody, charged in the alleged sexual assault of a woman on campus.

Dennis Houston, 18, denies allegations he had sex with the victim without her consent following a party on Beechnut.

Authorities said Houston has been booked into the Harris County Jail on a charge of aggravated sexual assault.

According to charging documents, the alleged victim passed out after someone slipped something into her drink.

When two students at the party offered to find her a ride back to the HBU campus, the alleged victim claimed she awoke to find herself in the lap of Houston's teammate, 22-year-old Kyler Henson.

Documents alleged Henson fondled her inside the vehicle. After she passed out, the victim claimed she awoke to find Henson having sex with her.

The charging documents also allege that Houston walked into the bedroom at one point and also had sex with her, without her consent.

The director of HBU athletics, Steve Moniaci, said the university was cooperating with the Harris County District Attorney's office in their investigation, and that both football players were suspended from playing pending the outcome of the investigation.
