KATY, Texas (KTRK) -- Katy ISD students can now get tested for COVID-19 through a district partnership with RediMD.
Last November, KISD expanded its employee testing services to students enrolled in the district. A free saliva-based rapid test is being offered to students and staff members.

The school district is also offering the rapid testing service to anyone who is not on Katy ISD's health plan. The cost for a rapid test is $125.
Parents are asked to call 281-396-7808 in advance to schedule a testing appointment.

The testing site is located at 5801 Katy Hockley Cut Off Rd. and is open from 7 a.m. - 4 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 8 a.m.- noon on Saturday, according to the district.
