Tuesday, April 11, 2017
HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- ABC13 partnered with HCC Central Campus and the Houston Immigration Legal Services Collaborative for an Immigration Town Hall on Tuesday evening.

The town hall was a community service opportunity for experts to answer HCC students' questions about immigration.

Legal experts from several non-profit agenices, including Catholic Charities, NALEO Education Fund, Baker Ripley (formerly Neighborhood Centers), UH Law Center, Tahirih Justice Center and Daya, answered questions from students during a one-hour live event.

Growing concern over recent immigration policies under the new Donald Trump administration has left some international students with many questions about their future status in the country.

These were just some of the questions addressed by the legal panel.
