Some of her family members and friends lost everything.
"My old neighborhood has been on national TV," Savannah said, "And they're literally flooded and some of my childhood friends have lost everything."

Savannah collects sea glass and has spent the last few weeks making jewelry by hand. She decided to sell it and give all the proceeds to the victims in Houston. Her local church agreed to match every donation.
So far, she's raised $1,200 and the jewelry is sold out.
To keep the effort going, the Wells family is looking for more sea glass. The family has also set up a website to sell Savannah's jewelry and collect donations for Harvey victims.

The money will be given to the Bayou City Fellowship Harvey Relief Fund, which was established by the church the Wells family attended.
Savannah and her father are traveling to Houston this weekend to donate the money and help in the relief effort.
