The family was displaced for nearly a year after Harvey destroyed their home. With help from nonprofit and faith-based leaders, a new home was built for the family in Acres Homes.
Volunteers from First United Methodist Church of Bryan, First Methodist Houston, and The Rock Church of Sandown New Hampshire assisted in the construction.
The home was furnished and other items were donated.
