All westbound lanes of I-10 Katy Freeway at Taylor reopen nearly 7 hours after 18-wheeler overturned

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- The westbound lanes of the I-10 Katy Freeway were closed at Taylor Street for nearly seven hours after an 18-wheeler overturned on Thursday morning.

Houston Transtar reported the incident, which involved a hazmat spill and a lost load, at 4:41 a.m.

All westbound lanes were reopened just before 11:30 a.m.



There was no word on whether anyone was injured or what caused the crash.
